A Bling Pinky Ring
This is a little something that I made this week with some leftover PMC. It's an open spiral ring since I didn't feel like measuring it for a specific size. Unfortunately, the open design was problematic. After the ring was fired, I tried ever so gently to adjust the ring. It snapped in two. So I pasted the two pieces back together with some more clay and refired the next day. You can still see my repair job on the left side. It's not pretty but you can't see it when I'm wearing the ring.
I'm not sure how well this ring will hold up in the long term. Oh well, I'll just chalk it up to experience!

I had no idea that PMC was that brittle. I make a similar ring with 1x4 mm wire or half-round wire. I balance little bezel cups on the ends to solder them. Even with stamping, though, they don't have the penache that your PMC one has.
